The evolution of Handmade Hope Tanzania and our impact
My name is Monica Patrick, I grew up in rural Tanzania and witnessed girls dropping out due to poverty, gender norms, early marriages, and unplanned pregnancies.
Inspired by my father's lessons in generosity, I shared school supplies and meals with classmates in need, offering hope and support to girls facing challenges.
Founded to economically empower out-of-school girls, Handmade Hope Tanzania operates under its sister organization as a safe space for rights education, health awareness, and personal growth through craftsmanship.
10% of profits support girls with mentorship, gender equality education, SRH, and life skills training through our sister organization. Your purchases create safe spaces and restore hope.
Handmade Hope Tanzania is dedicated to creating sustainable change through ethical craftsmanship and education. We operate under our sister organization to maximize our impact while maintaining focus on vocational training and economic empowerment.
